Toshiba Vantage TITAN 3T

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Showroom | Titan

Toshiba’s Vantage Titan 3T is a patient-friendly MR system with multi-port transmission technology, designed to created body images that are free of di-electric shading artifacts. It is designed for general, neuro, extremity and breast imaging. The MR has a 71 cm patient aperture, designed to help reduce claustrophobia. It is also the quietest 3T MR system available, the company says – Toshiba’s Pianissimo noise-reduction technology reduces exam noise by up to 33 dB(A). The Titan 3T has the ability to perform contrast-free MRA exams with Toshiba’s non-contrast techniques.

Siemens MAGNETOM AERA

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Showroom | Siemens

The AERA is Siemens’ 1.5 T MR offering from its MAGNETOM line of MR scanners. It features a 70 cm bore and a compact design – it weighs 3,118 kg and measures just 145 cm from cover to cover. Siemens’ Dot (day optimizing throughput) technology offers a customizable framework for patient personalization, user guidance and exam automation, while Tim 4G (total imaging matrix) technology integrates a high number (204) of coil elements with 48 standard RF channels, which helps reduce exam times up to 20 percent and can increase SNR up to 62 percent, the company says. The large bore and an LED-illuminated scanning area help decrease patient discomfort during exams.

Aurora Breast MRI

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Showroom | Aurora

The Aurora 1.5T Dedicated Breast MRI System is designed specifically for breast imaging. Unlike whole-body MR systems, which require aftermarket modifications to image the breast, the Aurora 1.5T Dedicated Breast MRI is designed specifically for breast anatomy, from the patient bed, to the proprietary CAD system, to the integrated biopsy capability. The large-bore, feet-first-entry scanner is designed to accommodate all patients, regardless of size or asymmetry. In addition, biopsy capability, called AuroraBIOPSY, is fully integrated with the scanner.

ViewRay MRI-Guided Radiation Therapy System

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Showroom | ViewRay

The ViewRay MRI-Guided Radiation therapy System provides continuous soft-tissue imaging during cancer treatment, so clinicians can see and record precisely where radiation therapy is being delivered, as it’s being delivered. ViewRay’s patented cancer treatment technology received FDA 510(K) clearance in May. The ViewRay system will be used to treat patients with tumors that are likely to move significantly during treatment. It is designed to allow clinicians to watch a tumor and adjust for its movement in real time. The ability to see soft tissue in motion via MRI can help assure clinicians that they are delivering the intended dose of radiation and avoiding normal tissues and critical structures such as the spinal cord. A member of the radiation oncology faculty at the University of Florida invented the system to address those issues. The ViewRay is currently being used in clinical trials at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine.

GE Optima MR430S

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Showroom | GE Optima

The optima MR430s extremity scanner is designed for a more comfortable patient experience, more compact design and high quality images. The design allows only the targeted anatomy (an arm or a leg) to go inside the scanner instead of the full body like traditional MR scanners. Its 1.5 T magnet helps ensure high quality images.
