Medivators Advantage Plus Endoscope Reprocessing System

The Medivators Advantage Plus is a fully automated, computer-based asynchronous endoscope reprocessor. The endoscope reprocessor monitors each endoscope channel separately for blockage and proper flow. A computerized detection system helps eliminate human error in the selection and connection of hook-ups, while an on-board data management system allows tracking of endoscope usage and viewing of cycle logs. Use of the wash cycle with the company’s Intercept Detergent eliminates the need for manual brushing and flushing of the endoscope, according to the FDA. Continuous automated leak testing and a programmable alcohol flush are standard attributes.

Steris Low Temperature Sterilization System

The Amsco V-PRO maX Low Temperature Sterilization System offers high-capacity load options to meet daily procedure needs. The system has an easy to read control display with three cycle options: a 28-minute Non Lumen Cycle for cameras, light cords, batteries and items such as daVinci devices; a new 35-minute Flexible Cycle for single and dual channel flexible surgical scopes/ bronchoscopes with or without nonlumen load; and a 55-minute Lumen Cycle that sterilizes up to 20 stainless steel lumens per load. Low sensitivity to moisture minimizes aborted cycles, which helps ensure reliable device turnaround.

ASP STERRAD 100NX System

The ASP STERRAD 100NX System is a low-temperature sterilizer with three sterilization cycles, including a 24-minute express cycle for da Vinci 3D endoscopes and other devices without lumens. The sterilizer processes a wide range of instruments, including multiple single-channel flexible endoscopes, cameras, rigid scopes, light cords, batteries and power drills. Features include network connectivity, cassettes with built-in RFID tags and an ergonomic footpad.

Skytron I-5 Washer-Disinfector

The Skytron I-5 Washer-Disinfector emphasizes per-cycle consistency, with features such as volumetric flow meters that measure the amounts of cleaners used in each step of the process and temperature thresholds for each cycle. Constructed of stainless steel, the I-5 can be configured in single and pass-thru modes. The unit includes powered vertical doors, a viewing window, low-E glass and an interior halogen light for visual monitoring, as well as 16 pre-programmed customizable cleaning cycles. The integrated dryer package allows for sterilized gear to be prepared for re-use, and offers an optional cycle data printer.

Medivators Compact Endoscope Reprocessor

The Medivators CER-1 Endoscope Reprocessing System is designed for cart or counter top use. Intended for low-to-mid-volume environments, it occupies limited space and boasts a push-button operation that can reprocess one immersible endoscope of any size per cycle. The CER-1 is a comprehensive decontaminator, the company says, that includes leak testing and manual cleaning as well as disinfectant chemistries. Leak testing helps eliminate cross-contamination, while manual cleaning features make use of “brush-and-flush” detergent cleaners. The unit features self-disinfecting internal fluid lines via a two-stage, bacteria-retentive rinse water filtration system. A sealed reservoir contains chemical vapors from disinfectants, and any reprocessing cycle deficiencies are limited via multisensory alarms. The company’s CER-2 is a similar system that can disinfect two endoscopes at once.
