InterMed Achieves ISO 9001 Certification

InterMed Biomedical Services Inc, InterMed Ultrasound Services Inc, and InterMed Nuclear Medicine Services Inc, medical equipment sales and services companies, have received the prestigious ISO 9001 quality system certification.

The companies sell new, preowned, and reconditioned biomedical, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine equipment and parts; they service equipment; and they offer training courses. ISO 9001 certification indicates that InterMed has met rigorous requirements for quality management systems and has demonstrated its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

InterMed began the process in early 2011. Organizations that have achieved certification have successfully undergone a comprehensive, meticulous assessment to ensure that their processes and organization meet high standards of quality as defined by the International Organization for Standardization and DNV Business Assurance, an international certification body established in 1864.

In addition to achieving certification, the InterMed companies have been recognized on Inc. magazine’s 500/5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America for the past two years, as well as again this year.
