Welch Allyn implements rigorous quality policies on all of its products. Data generated by the new CalTables tests will help improve product development, product verification and quality control of select vital signs monitors and devices. CalTables provide a way to test select products with real-life patient simulation to ensure each will perform precise measurements in clinical use.

“The addition of Welch Allyn monitoring within Clinical Dynamics simulators is an exciting complementary offering for our customers,” said Shawn St. Pierre, senior manager of Vital Signs marketing at Welch Allyn. “The simulators will allow our customers to conduct various tests that are essential to verifying the clinical performance of our products. Since Clinical Dynamics simulators produce high-quality, repeatable signals, and are calibrated for individual devices, this meets the expectations and performance levels demanded by our customers. Testing a Welch Allyn product on a Clinical Dynamics simulator verifies performance criteria and provides confidence the device will perform as intended during clinical use.”

The ease of use and accuracy of the new CalTables fit the needs of biomeds and other end users of Welch Allyn vital signs monitors and devices who have to test equipment regularly. CalTables will provide a platform for testing that will help increase accuracy and reliability and guarantee devices will work properly whenever they are needed.

“Clinical Dynamics is honored to have developed CalTables for accurate testing of the complete Welch Allyn patient monitoring line, that includes such products as the Spot Vital Signs® LXi and Connex® Vital Signs Monitors,” said Joseph Rebot, president at Clinical Dynamics. “Working with the technical team at Welch Allyn was a great experience and we are excited that Clinical Dynamics’ products will provide accurate testing for the complete line of Welch Allyn patient monitors and patient monitoring technologies.”
