Global Medical Imaging LLC acquired by Jordan Industries International

Global Medical Imaging, LLC (GMI), a leading provider of diagnostic ultrasound systems, nuclear cameras and service solutions has announced its acquisition by Jordan Industries International LLC.

Founded in 2002, GMI sells, services, repairs and installs new and refurbished medical imaging equipment, specializing in diagnostic ultrasound and nuclear medicine. Since inception, GMI has grown to support a variety of customers from the private practice physician to the large integrated delivery network (IDN) with its sales and service solutions.

Jordan Industries International (JII), headquartered in Chicago, is a diversified private investment company that acquires businesses to foster their growth and create long-term value. Founded in 1988, JII has acquired more than 100 companies and established a track record of teaming up with growth-oriented organizations and their management teams to build industry-leading companies.

JII is pursuing a strategic build-up in the growing, highly fragmented global medical equipment market. As the first platform acquisition, GMI and its management team will be backed by JII’s permanent capital base to continue to grow both organically and through acquisition. In addition, JII is pursuing additional platform acquisitions in the broader medical equipment market to further augment GMI’s growth and provide cross-selling opportunities among the family of companies.
