Sage Services Group, a leading provider of medical patient monitoring services, parts, and accessories, has launched a new innovative product, the guardian. The guardian is a custom-fit case designed to protect telemetry transmitters from everyday wear and tear.

“Earlier this year, our team started looking for ideas to protect transmitters because of the number of devices we received at our facility for service that were dropped or mishandled,” Sage Services Group President and Founder Joe Harper explains.

The idea is quite simple – Why not protect telemetry units the way smartphones are protected? Ultimately, these cases are easily cleaned, durable for repeated use, and are designed to protect.

Telemetry transmitters are a vital tool in medical facilities nationwide. This equipment is essential to the hospital staff to monitor patients wirelessly. When telemetry devices are damaged, the units are out of service to be repaired and the hospital incurs additional expenses to have them fixed.

“Our team is excited to launch the guardian and partner with our customers in an effort to reduce unnecessary repairs and keep these critical telemetry devices in service where they belong,” Harper adds.

The guardian comes in 12 different models custom fit for specific transmitters, including Philips, GE/Marquette, Mindray and Spacelabs transmitters. This custom-fit, single-piece construction ensures the transmitter is protected. An internal shock-absorbing frame increases the durability of the unit. The case is simple to clean and disinfect. It features a lint-free and dust-free coating.

Sage Services Group offers an opportunity to guard telemetry investments with the guardian.
