The Oregon Biomedical Association sent an email Thursday night reporting sad news.

“We are sad to inform everyone that last week we lost one of our PCC Biomedical students in a motor vehicle accident.  James Ritchie would have graduated at the end of this spring term.  He was an excellent student and a great innovator.  He gave a lot of support to students and the program, as well as other activities including Maker Space, Intel career fairs, OMSI activities etc,” the email reads. “James left behind his wife, two young children, and a baby on the way on May 1st.  Sanda Williams informs us that PCC has set up a Go Fund Me account to help with expenses.  Donations can be made at gofundme.com under James Ritchie Family.”

Donation may be made to the family here.
