Bovie’s Intelligent Digital System??(IDS) Series are electrosurgical generators with fully digital implementation for use in today’s modern OR and surgical outpatient center. The IDS 300 has 300 watts of cutting power, 10 doctor presets, and two modes of pure cut, 10 modes of blend, two modes of coagulation and bipolar coagulation. Designed with BovieFDFS technology, the system measures tissue impedance 5,000 times a second to help ensure consistent energy delivery to varying tissue types. Safety features include Bovie NEM pad sensing technology to monitor the return electrode and BovieDED to monitor all functions of the generator. Bovie’s digital technology and user-friendly interface make controlling the IDS Systems simple for the OR team, allowing the surgeon to concentrate on the patient, the company says.
