HTM Week Contest Winner Announced

In today’s edition of the MedWrench blog, I would like to feature our HTM Week contest winner, Linda Jones, as the featured “Guru of the Month”.  It is an honor to recognize Linda as a MedWrench Guru or the Month. Without users like Linda sharing their knowledge and expertise, the forums wouldn’t be the powerful tool that it is today. Thank you for everything that you do to help our MedWrench users Linda!

How long have you been a member of MedWrench?

I am a fairly new member. I signed up about a year ago.

What aspect of MedWrench do you utilize the most?

I utilize the Q/A forum the most but I like that I can search for equipment/manuals.

What, if any, new features would you like to see on MedWrench?

Oh my goodness! This sight has such a good variety of information like manuals, Q/A forums, equipment searches, bulletin board, etc. I can’t think of any new features to add.

Where are you currently employed? What is your position there?

Womack Army Medical Center, Electronic Technician (Biomed) specializing in patient monitoring/network and ultrasound

What are your hobbies?

In my spare time, I enjoy attending local high school sports events. There is a group of us parents that really have a great time. Football is my favorite to watch but basketball, volleyball, wrestling, softball, baseball, and track are fun, too. I also enjoy coaching gymnastics and have done that for 10 plus years.

What is one word that describes you the best?

Teacher. I love to educate my coworkers on testing and repairing equipment. Love when I get to show a nurse/user how to operate or properly maintain equipment! And, of course, I teach gymnastics.
