How long have you been a member of MedWrench?
I am not 100% sure but I believe I became a member in August of 2012. Crazy how time flies.
What aspect of MedWrench do you utilize the most?
The My Bench feature with Q & A’s. Often I research the issue myself and it helps me stay current on systems. Also I often learn things from the more experienced respondents which is always a plus.
Are you aware that MedWrench now has a mobile site? If so do you use it from your smart phone or tablet?
I was not aware MedWrench had a mobile site. I work in-house so it is easier for me to use the internet site but I will keep that in mind if the situation arises.
What do you like most about MedWrench?
The customizability of the site. The wealth of experience offered by the members is incredible and MedWrench is a great asset for any Biomed.
Where are you currently employed? What is your position there?
I work at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ. I am an Imaging specialist there.
What type of equipment do you work on the most? (imaging, patient monitoring, etc. if applicable)
Imaging, R/F and Cardio/Vascular
What are some of the best aspects of your job?
I travel to Haiti a couple of times each year to support a hospital facility sponsored by my employer. I work on a variety of vintage systems there. It is a major help to the Haitian people and rewarding to help others. The hospital name is Hopital Sacre Coeur, Milot, Haiti. I intend to sign up the local Biomed to MedWrench on my next trip. Usually he just contacts me but I want him to start branching out in his requests for assistance.
What are your hobbies?
Motorcycle riding, reading, internet research, family
What is one word that describes you the best?
Focused.
