Find out who is the Application Support contact is  for the equipment. That person will probably be able to tell you how to do that. The tech support people might charge for phone support. Application folks usually will not.

If this equipment requires a service menu access code to change DICOM info, many vendors will give you at least a temporary code to do that and there should not be a charge for that type of help.
