I have a unit that I can not get any sound out of. I swapped the front panel to another unit and the speaker does work. Any suggestions ? Is there a way to shut the sound off that I am not aware of ? Or is this a component problem and if so which one?

More than likely it is a component on the main board that controls the sound that the unit makes under certain conditions. Image Quest can repair/replace the component at a flat rate repair that is very economically with a quick turn around time. You can contact them at 1-855-813-8100.
