Dash 3000 RAM Test Fails

I have a Dash 3000 Monitor in my ER that randomly didn't boot up one day. I went and checked it out and everytime I restart it, it fails the power on self test. It fails everytime at the "RAM test FAILED at adr 30000000." Anybody ever see anything like that?

We have seen this in the past. Have you recently done a software update? There are two chips on the main that contain the GE software for the dash that sometimes get corrupted or just die that need to be replaced and reprogrammed. We have had sucess repairing this.

However if you recently had a software update to 7.0 or above pushed from GE they should warranty it as this has caused alot of issues for some hospitals. Also if the issue is caused by to high of software then we can only replace the main as you can not go back from 7.
