I have a GE SAM module that's showing a "service module cell sev"
error message. Wondering if anyone else has seen this and what the
resolution was. Any assistance would be appreciated. GE depot
service in Jupiter, FL wants a flat fee of only $2,290.00 to repair it
with a 90 day warranty. Thanks in advance.

I've been told that this error has to do with the optical bench, in which case the only resolution is to send it to GE.

Looks like you have a leak in the reference cell. Get on the GE website
and pull down documents 412365.008B ( SAM service manual ) and 412365.009C
which has the bench sub assemblies, ie.. the reference cell manifold.
You will also need the calibration kit, which is also listed. If you have
alot of SAM you might consider and contract. We got 24 months full
service contract for 595.00 ea. This includes an annual PM if you feel
like taking the time to ship them one by one off to the factory.

Pioneer Biomedical also repairs these too, OEM quaility but much faster. GE may have stopped, and regarless are very slow. Give them a try 1-888-644-3274, good folks
