Does anyone know of a safety tester that has an adapter to connect to the TEE probes for the Philips Epiq 7 ultrasound system? Fluke or Unisysn does not have one yet.
Thanks

Hello,
This concerns performing electrical leakage tests on the new Philips TEE probes.
You requested that we research obtaining an adaptor for the new Philips x7-2t TEE Probe to be compatible with the Fluke Biomedical Electrical Leakage Tester that your department already possesses and routinely uses for the older TEE Probes.
The part you need to order may be purchased from the vendor named: CIVCO MEDICAL SOLUTIONS (ULTRASOUND DIV)
The x7-2t adaptor part number is: 667082
Price is: $ 1,045.00
Please let us know if you need further assistance regarding this matter.

I do not believe that Fluke or BC Group Intl (makers of the Unisyn meter) have yet to develop a CX50 adaptor for the leakage meters. That being said, there is a universal adaptor (a pencil probe) that can be used. Philips also sells a CX50 adaptor. This allows the CX50 X7-2t to run on the iE33. Not sure of the cost, but it is an option. It's what we use in our facility in conjunction with the BC Group ULT 2020. Nothing is inexpensive through Philips though.
Hold on to your hat... The Philips adapter is $25,000. Yes TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Straight from the sales rep in the North Bay. I Think you should go with the my earlier recommendation from Civco Medical or either buy the one from BC group, which is about $1,100. Have fun.
Terry,
I believe our ULT-PA-19 would work with that probe. You can contact me direct at koday@bcgroupintl.com and I can send you a picture of the probe adapter. You can then compare it to your probe to see if it will work. You could also send me a picture of your connect so we could verify.
