Is it safe to use Hydrogen Peroxide to sterilize the probes  on our Medison MySonoU5?

The user manual should specifiy which disinfecting solutions are OK to use or you may have to contact Medison. Hydrogen peroxide is the active ingredient in Cidex OPA, which is commonly one that is tested by manufacturers. It is also a disinfecting solution that causes damage to some probes or may damage certain parts of a probe, so it is important to check with Samsung Medison.

I have service manuals for some other Medison systems that were manufactured around the same time as the U5, and they only list glutealderhyde as an approved disinfectant. It is important to rinse off any disinfecting solution with water to avoid damaging the probes or exterior system surfaces.
