Dead battery caused system to revert back to 1984. GE Logic Alpha Version 1.2. I believe I need hyper terminal to fix. Can anyone provide the solution?

I had i similar problem on a Logiq 400 that had a bad timekeeper ram/battery. Here is the procedure that worked for me when I replaced the battery. It may be similar
You will need a cross cable (25 pin to 9 pin serial with a null modem on the 25 pin side.)
The only parameter change in hyperterminal was the baud rate to 9600
At the VTSH> prompt type: (it is case sensitive)
cd MSTPRG
ld BRST.LO
st
You will be prompted for the year (last 2 digits),month (0-12), day (0-31), hour (0-23), minute (0-59).
Then the system serial number.
This loads the entered information into the timekeeper ram.
