hard disk

Looks like a bad sector from the hard disk. You need to reload the operating system if you have the system disk and the application disk. If not, here's my tip (I've done this many times with other brand as well): uninstall the hard disk and install it  to a desktop computer, configuring it as a slave; you could use Windows Scandisk utility to recover corrupted Windows 2000 files or use commercial file recovery programs if Windows failed - I strongly suggest to use Windows file recovery first. Good luck.

I am now told the machine does not recognise the hard disk. Message now is booting failure .Please insert floppy disc.

Is this related to disk pin connection .?

After repairing the windows 2000,

During startup, the following messages shows up:

sonoview.dll not found or load error

worklist.dll not found!

Sonoview.dll initialization error

No Acquire.dll found

No Review.dll found

System Error (Error Code: 40)

I do not have system installation software.
