Hello Chris,

I was a little premature in my request for help. I hadn’t actually started troubleshooting yet, but now I have a little more information.

The error occurs at boot. There’s also a message displayed on the monitor which states “Error in surgery controller”. And when I press the “I” button on the c-arm, in addition to the M326 Error id displays error M050 System Initialization problem.

Looking at the circuit boards, all of the +/- 15v LED’s are lit. All of the circuit boards seem to have all of the correct LED’s lit except for SEA2 Rotor Board.

A1 – A4 are NOT lit. And on the SCPU module, there’s a red LED labeled “STAT” that is flashing. So it looks like I have a stator power problem.

I checked the 220vac coming into the HF Generator assembly and it is ok. I checked the fuses beneath the card rack of the HF Generator and the fuses on the rotor board. All are ok. I have 15v on TP 2 and TP 3. I suspect the rotor board but I can’t be certain.

What are your thoughts?

The Stat means status of BIST (built in self test).

Green  Bist OK

Red    Bist Failed

Red Blinking  Bist in progress

The led's on sea2 a1-a4 will not come on till you do x-ray saying anode is turning and up to speed.

Hope this helps

Andrew
