Color artifacts

Hello, I am getting a lot of color artifact even at lower gains. It happens on all transducers. The system is a D cart has. I have reseated the front end and it seems better but still not what it should be. Any advice would be great thanks

This could be a NAIM board or a channel board issue.

If you email me I can set you up with a Hero kit with no restocking fees!!!

Color noise/artifacting is typically a NAIM just like Ngreen said.

I would also check the condition of the AFP and Cables leading to is and if you have the time swap channel board 0,1 with 2,3 as pairs and see if it moves the artifact or changes its shape.

Do you have a photo of the noise you could post?

Thanks for the help, It turned out to be a bad channel board.

One good way to troubleshoot a bad channel board is to put the system into M-mode (slow sweep helps) and slowly adjust the color gain. Particularly with an intermittent channel noise issue, you may have to wait and watch, but you will see vertical color spikes to at least send you to the channel board area.
