occlusion alarm is on constantly and won't allow pump to run...how to test and/or reset occlusion sensor sensitivity? Or is it possibly an IV dripset issue... the machine may not tolerate brands of IV line made with stiffer material?

persistent occlusion alarm

I had a tour of duty with these, the occ. sensor was a micro switch that road on a rail and was spring loaded, to adjust the occ. sensor was no more than adjusting the spring tension on the micro switch. the rail the switch rode on was always getting junk on it and would lock up the switch. You can access it on the right side 3 small screws. Also pay close attention to the pump head assembly, the pump head gums up causing inacurate flow rates, we just threw the pump head in a ultrasound cleaner and made sure they rolled freely .
