frequency of preventive maintenance

We are using Siemens Dimension Instruments (EXL, RXL MAX and expand) in our lab for routine chemistry.

The PPM frequency used to be 4 times a year. recently they made it semiannual.

What is the ideal frequency of PPM (number of times PPM should be done in a year) for dimension chemistry analyzers. we use the analyzers 24x7x365

The goal is 4 times a year, but this is difficult for the company’s to carrier this procedure. They need more FSE or FSR, so they do the best to keep the instrument in a good performance. If you have a good technician in your laboratory perhaps he can do some maintenance procedure so they company can warranty to you two maintenance a year.
