Logiq 400 - boots into loading screen ( stuck at 2nd loading bar)

Hi,

The logiq 400 boots into the 2nd loading bar. I have read the this may be caused by a discharged /broken timekeeper battery, or an borken harddrive.

Unforunalty there is not support for this product in my country (Germany). Therefore i wanted to replace it myself... .

I made a image of the mainboard. and marked the (what i think is ) timekeeper bat with a red circle. So my question: For replacement do i have so soild it out and replace it with a new one? where do i get a new one?

Is there an other possibility of the error wich counld/ should be tried before?!

The picture shows that the batery can by clipped on?! Or do i have to soild onto the mainboard?

After replacing it you will have to use a terminal program (teraterm) to program the date, time, and serial number before the system will boot. I will e-mail some documents that may help.

I just noticed that the timekeeper snaphat lithium battery (i circed in red on the first post) is a snap hat, thus to the top (yellow) think can be "snaped" off and replaced. Does anyone have a video how to snap off the battery. i am really new at this kind of electronics.

edit: i just found a image, which lets me guess that there are 4 clips (2 on each side) which have to be lifted!
