Try swapping the two video cards. They are a common failure on these units. If the right one is bad you wont get a display on the main LCD. If the left is bad the touch screens wont display properly. If after swapping and only the touch screens are affected order a replacement video card. Philips only sells the UMB assembly to customers but there are third party vendors who will sell the card.

BMET-KY is on the right track. We stock all versions of these cards.

If you replace or swop the Graphics card you will not need a password. When ordering a new graphics card make sure you get the correct type. There are 3 different versions. To check which type you have switch on the system and immediately you will see the type of graphics card shown on the monitor. All the major thrid party ultrasound service companies in the USA will be able to offer you prices on exchange graphics cards.

John is correct you shouldnt need a password. Also you dont have to swap with another system. You can just swap the two cards on your system. and see if the problem swaps from main LCD to touch screens. If you have another system with the same type of video cards you could swap both of them and if problem follows order a new video card. I have also had the motherboard or LCD be the problem. Try swapping either of those if the video cards dont change you symptoms. Just make sure its the same cart level. You can also call Conquest Imaging, Summit Imaging, Midwest Imaging, AUE Tulsa, or Ultrasound Gurus they can all offer tech support (free usually) and parts

Error 608 can be a software error, typically you would reload software if you have that capability.

were you able to get ahold of a new Video Card just incase one is causing the issues ? or did you only swap left ot right in the umb ?

i look forward to helping call or email anytime!
