Has anyone had any "mixer fail" issues with either a Primus or Apollo as they're called in the U.S.

Hello,
The Apollo and Primus differ by only the mixer, so whatever failure you're having is probably not possible on the Apollo. What other messages are you getting, if any? Have done any diagnostics in the service mode?
