Networking a Sonos 7500

Hi,

I am trying to set up my Philips Sonos 7500 with an IP address so I can attach it to my network. I can not find where to go on the machine to configure the network. Please can someone advise?

Thanks
Sam

You have to go into test, then there will be a login screen.  Just below the login will be a button to go into the network.  For further assistance you can call 866-900-9404 for detailed technical support.

1.      Attach an external monitor, mouse and keyboard to the Sonos PC. Power-up the Sonos system.

2.      On the keyboard attached to the Sonos PC, press the Windows key (or Ctrl-Esc) to display the Windows XP interface.

3.      Select All Programs > Support Tools > Network Properties to display the Network Connections screen.

4.      Right click the Local Area Connection and select Properties in the pop-up menu to display the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box (General tab).

5.      Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), then click Properties to display the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box (see figure below).

6.      Select Use the following IP address:.and enter the following data items: IP address (for SONOS PC), Subnet mask, Default gateway (if applicable)
