Testing ramp function on CPAP

Any ideas on how to set up a test jig that will allow verification of ramp function operation?

What particular CPAP unit are you referring to?

The ramp function is just a lower pressure then the normal pressure for treatment. An easy way to verify this is to use a monometer in the airway line you should see a lower pressure for the time the ramp is active then it should increase to the treatment pressure. Also make sure that the air is not able to free flow easly. It needs simular resistance as if the patient was wearing the mask. The mask has small holes for the air to escape so cover the end of the hose with  simular air flow restriction.

NOTE: If your device has the ability to detect and assist breath you may need a breath simulator to get accurate pressure differences.

Thank you, I found a manometer that should do the trick and I will make sure that I use flow restrictions and not flow blockage or free flow.  Thanks again
