Problem with Ligasure Device

Hi,

We have a second hand Ligaure device. It has suddenly started making a repetitive beeping sound with 2 of the bars in the display on the left flashing while making the beeping sound. No error codes. Makes no difference if the handles are plugged in or not. Valley Lab will not service the device or give us any input because we are not the original owners of the piece of equipment. Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this or know anyone that will service this device?

Thank you!

Dr. W

Not sure if it will help, but you can find a user and service manual under the documents tab, here. Also, Soma Technology may be able to service this equipment.

thank you! Will try Soma. We have looked at the service manual and our particular alarm that we are experiencing is not listed specifically in the manual.

RepairMed can repair this unit for a flat rate fee.  They work on several different models of Valleylab products.  You can contact them at 1-855-813-8100

Did you ever find a solution for this issue? I'm thinking that it is the CPU board after replacing the ROM battery. Any info would be great. - Nick
