After i  clean the PCI slots, MAP1 MAP2 is OK,but BPI still failed.

A probles is that the RAM slot in BPI is empty, is it the origial setting?

I think you are talking about the EPI-PCB.
The older models EPI Boards are pretty sensitive for porper seating. Sometimes, after a servicecall and when the EPI Board has been removed, it will generate errors after you put it back in the socket.
Try cleaning the EPI Board contacts again, make sure the Motherboard socket is clean and "reposition" it to see if it improves the situation.

I would not rely on the test functions inside the software. They are not alwyas telling you the right information and present errors that are not true errors.
The EPI Board is the "center of intelligence" for image processing and communications. If it fails, the system does not start properly all the way.
1.) How did you access the Windows Explorer window?
2.) What is the effect you see when you boot the system all the way up? How does the system behave?

Thank you for your reply,

1.) How did you access the Windows Explorer window?

just to press CTRL+ALT+E befor you boot the soft completely.

2.) What is the effect you see when you boot the system all the way up? How does the system behave?

Sometimes all boards can be confirmed in the system, but have no scanning image.  Althrough the probe can be find in the system when i press "probe" button, but there still have no scanning image.

i view the applicaton log, it seems that errors, same value at GND and ST4V;A/D value at D/A 00 and FF is the same;ATGC A/D value at D/A 50 and FF is the same;PRB config error.CW vonfig error.

After i kick it,it still no good.

Maybe you need to kick it harder ;-)

I think you have a bad EPI-PCB.
When you order it for replacement, make sure you exact the same revision level board. You can find this on the side of the PCB. (Something like E/2 or B/4).

Before replacing this part, try to perform a full reset of the system software first.

First, you have to make sure that there is a good working backup disk to restore the system configuration otherwise it will restore the factory settings.

Er,

In fact my system software Version is V05-07A

And old EPI board is A/0 flash data is 00-00,i borrowed a EPI board, but it's version is E/0 flash date b0-03.

why this board should be keep the same version? Is it the problem of drivers?

Another problem is that the Log maker is not working in the log manager of service tools. when i  click log make buttom, there is no new log produce.

that's funny.
If you have system software version 05-07A, the EPI Board must be at least Revision level D/* or E/* !
And the flash file revision level is never 00-00 either.

The borrowed board looks good.

The Log Manager is a different thing. That is part of the system software and if it fails, you have to reload the system software.
Make 100% sure it is not generating anything by going to the folder on Windows Explorer and see if it exists. Maybe the dialog box in Log Manager was not updating the newly created file?
