Acuson S2000 Local Service Access Problem

After Harddisk change and system re-setup (VB21) the basic Local Service Login doesnt work. Actually in the beginning it did, not now.

Usually left blank for basic setup, Internet Explorer says "Invalid license key entered". User is meduser, as always. Must be a I-Explorer/Security problem.

Anyone has a hint? Just need access to basic servicing (license, HRS).

Please no "make u a service password for 4000$" answers ;-)

Hey Jim,

thank you.

But it doesnt work. It used to...but now with blank entries it says " entered wrong license key".

What could that be? Something about XP64bit SP2 changes to the interent explorer 6? ActiveX stuff?

Any Idea?

Hi Petra,

That sounds like corrupted software. Did this happen after a Restore of backup files, or just from using it over time? You might want to reformat the hard disk and do some tests on it, then reload software.

The only software updates that should be done to the Siemens software is the Update installation disk from Siemens needed for some versions, including VB21.
