Hi Elarach,

Do you mean you select the probe but you get no sector image displayed on the system at all but you can hear the 'screaming' from the probe that is audable with young ears on some probe types?

Can you take an image of the screen so i can see what you are seeing?

All the best,

Ash

Dear Ashley Barker

Thanks for your prompt answer. Yes I can hear the sound produced by the ultrasound into the probe. But not there is the sector image. In fact I made the autotest in the equipment and in the line of the Receive Signal Test Bit. This is marked like fails. So, previously the equipment it was working well. Just I had a trouble with the resolution of the CRT monitor, I tried to adjust the video and the equipment left blocked. Then I removed the battery in order to reset the BIOS values but I didn't get the equipment works again. Until I had to connect other monitor in order to change the configuration of the screen. But since the equipment doesn.'t show the sector image.

What is your email to send you the pictures?

Thanks in advance

Elarach

Hi Elarach,

Ah okay, so just to recap my understanding.

1. the system did have issues with the resolution of the CRT monitor

2. you disassembled and removed the battery holding the BIOS values.

3. since then the system now fails the receive signal test during the self test and also you dont get a sector image appearing on the screen either?

I dont like publicly posting my email address. but if you go to our website (http://www.probelogic.com.au/contact-us/) and just fill out that contact form. Just put in there that you want to be connected with Ashley Barker and you are from Medwrench and then it will get directed to my desk almost straight  away.

All the best,

Ash

You will be in need to reinstall sw first to get the bios settings back to factory values
