i want to know completly about safety disk internal parts and its working
how the safety disk works
Well, since the Maquet CS300 is basically a revamped version of the Datascope 98XT, I know a fair amount about the Datascope version.
Basically it's a diaphram that allows the action of compressed and vacumn air to move it under controlled conditions. The other side of the diaphram is for helium, which drives the actual balloon that's in the aorta. Helium is much safer than air if accidentally introduced into the human
bloodstream and will dissipate out of the blood and body rapidly. The CS300 decides what pressures to supply to the diaphram, which controls the helium in the catheter. It's surrounded by aluminum for mechanical support and it has a cooling fan with a Peltier junction to keep the humidity level of the compressed air in check. It's not for the helium, as it's USP and bone-dry, 0% humidity.
The diaphram has a limit of how often it can be used, number of cycles or in time, and it needs to be replaced about every 2 years. Along with the batteries.
In a nutshell. :-)
