I would start with the power supply. Swap it with another unit.

I'd like to know, too.. I have one that just started misbehaving today. Supposedly earlier today this P2 would not see any ECG signals, so one of my coworkers replaced the ECG cable. Now, when booting up, I see the word "Passport" on the display, but about 6 seconds after booting up, it beeps loudly, 4 times a second. And I'm unable to get into the service mode on it (by holding down the Freeze button and turning it on). Any other ideas??

Problem is main cpu board. Specifically the battery in the RTC chip. You can send it to Mindray for replacement at about half the cost of a new board.

I was wondering about that. It's not socketed, but that's not a huge problem. I've opened it up to check everything else and I remember seeing it but I didn't write down what part number it was. Anyone have that part number handy, and is there a source of the chip?

BQ4847. Should be able to get it from Mouser, Newark etc. Tried installing before but it is a 28 pin chip on a multilayer board. I don't really have the necessary soldering equipment to do this.
