Is it possibile to load the driver for a new printer UP D80 or arte we obbligated to contact Philips
Oviously the new Sony printer is not listed sa an available option in the "periferal setup "

Unfortunately the only choices listed under setup periferial are to add a "new analogue printer", the D80 is usb

And what about if I want to add a new DICOM color printer. iU22 comes only with 3 dicom color printers availabe (2 codonics and 1 agfa).

An Italian service engineer told me that the printers listed are those"certified" at the time of the equipment realization
Doesn't help if the list is not kept updated or as in our case the Sony Up D77 is no longer repairable and the end user insists on printing 6 images together on the A4 format of the D77.......Report Post

Ok,problem resolved......
In our software version the Sony Up D80 is not listed this problem was resolved by:
Entering service console(key generator-password protected) loading the new drivers via Windows add printer,rename file as Up 55D(this is the latest digital printer available from the Philips drop down menu).Reboot.Then from the iU 22 user menu select the Up55 as the default USB printer,the Philips system software then goes to the renamed printer folder and selects the new drivers.Thankfully the engineer had recourse to the password key generator!!!!!
