Power Fail error

Have you tried pressing the Clear key to see if it resets?

Yes but nothing happened.

What was happening when this all started, was it in the middle of a run when the power failed, or did you go to use it and the error is preventing you? Is CLEAR illuminated while the power fail message is visible?

This happend when I turn on the equipment. this is the steps before get the Power Fail Error:

1. turn on the main switch

2. the system go up then a  "Please Wait" msg appear

3. then I heard a click fron the back of the machine then a "Power Fail" msg appear

I'm guessing you might have a problem with the power circuitry inside the machine, or possibly with the electrical supply to the machine. It should be 200-230VAC, possibly you have lost a connection and it's only supplying 120?

I Check the followings items: main power ok!, power supply 5 & 12 volt ok, sometimes with the main switch on I disconnect one of the buss cable in the door board then disconnect and connect power the main screen then the sorvall boot up ok with out alarms I run the machine and works perfectly! I explain this to Sorvall and one of sorvall representative tell me that one of the four board is causing the problem but it's difficult to identify which one. is some know how to make a best or a diferent troubleshooting please let me know. thanks
