Will detect maternal but will not pick up fetal signals. Have used different test equipment and cables to verify no equipment error and equip self test shows no errors.

There are different pcb's that control maternal ecg and fetal ecg in this monitor. There is a strong possibility that the FECG board is bad. The part number for the FECG board is 2025177-008. Please call for assistance with this part I will be glad to help you.
