step 1: Home pg 2--> Status--> check "trend angle" to confirm bed thinks its at 0 degrees trend.

step 2: if the bed thinks its at 0 degrees, but you know it really isn't, recalibrate the hilow sensors from the service menu.

Good luck,

Joe

I checked the Trend Angel and yeah its 0 degrees, but the angle indicator is between 0 and 5 degrees, so im guessing i have to recalibrate the scale?  I tried to find the Service manual for the Total care, but no luck.  Managed to find a service manual for a VersaCare that shows how to recalibrate, is it kinda the same procedures or diffrent?  does anyone have the manual for the TotalCare? I've replaced valves and other stuff before, havne't done a calibration, don't think i'll be that hard lol any ideas???

You'll need to recalibrate the hilow sensors:

Enter the service menu --> sensor calibraion--> Run hilow all the way up, take a reading --> Run hilow all the way down, take a reading --> save and exit.

Should be good to go.

Thanks for the help man, seems pretty easy, but i dont have these options in the main menu, All i see are Scale Functions, Config.Bed exit alarm, Bed Setup/Reset, Preset bed positions and lastley Status.  The bed that i have is a TotalCare Model... Any idea how i could get to Service menue----Sensor----Calibration??

Yep, if its the GCI with the up and down arrow keys, you hold down the up and down arrow keys simultaniously until it enters the service mode.

If its a touchscreen GUI, you press Tools--> Enter Service Mode--> 812

little update, just cheked the bed and the service light if off..  it has something to do with Trendelenburg position, Bed flat control wont return the bed to zero degree position, i do reverse trendelenburn to adjust the angel idicator to zero manually, so something is off, im gussing could be somthing inside side rail faulty or trendelenburg hydrolics or could be a valve..
