Does JCAHO require you to put a value of outputs sticker on ESUs and Energy levels of Defibs.
I have not worked at a place since 1996 that wanted us to sticker them that way. And by years out we quit doing it because it was not rquired by JCAHO.
now my boss wants us to do it. grrrr
Depending on what the departments written policies, protocol and procedures are as related to specifically indicating this information to be displayed will dictate whether you are REQUIRED to do.
We do not do it here and I have not seen this anywhere I have been over the previous 15 years.
IF this is something JCAHO is looking at it is probably something that the organization has as their protocols.
I would say NO they cannot expect you to do anything that JCAHO has not stated as an expected standard nationwide.
I have not seen any such notice.
