Please note that the dignostic menu is only on the new 2nd generation M11's. If it has a "fill light" this would tell me its the 1st gen. If you need any further help let me know.

It’s likely that you have a short between the chamber water level sensor and the body of the autoclave. My suggestion is  with the unit unplugged, check continuity between the two.  If it’s low resistance in between the chamber and sensor in the back of the chamber it would tell the main board the chamber is already full.   Does it go straight into the heating portion of the cycle after start is pressed?  If so then this is likely your problem. There could be a fray in the wire going to the main board and touching a grounded surface outside the chamber inside the case of the unit,  or there may be a piece of conductive material bridging the inner chamber sensor to the chamber.

If the door is slightly ajar or the door closed switch is malfunctioning or disconnected the unit won’t fill either.

Common issue following cleaning. First thing for possible easy fix: ( be sure that there is room in the reservoir by checking the level is down at least two inches from max) place water in the CHAMBER manually until up to top of water dam. Then, with no contents , run a short/instrument cycle. Assuming normal completion, start another cycle and see if issue is resolved (ie, unit goes into fill mode for appropriate time and then heating for normal cycle.

I would be happy to help.  I would start with cleaning the water level sensor.  If your still skipping the fill preform a manual fill, use the drain tube and fill the chamber.

If the unit completes the cycle look at the water level sensor or the fill valve.
