ADD WATER

Hi,

I have a Tuttnauer 2540 EKA autoclave.  The ADD WATER light stays on, even when water tank is full.  Everything I read online said to replace the water level float switch, which I did.  This did not fix the problem.  Any other ideas on what the problem might be & how to fix it?

Thanks.

The only thing i would suggest prior to sending it in for service is to be sure the float switch is installed the right side up. You can check this by pulling up on the float and see if the "add water" light turns off. If it does not I would recommend it being sent in for service. You can call us any time at 877-561-0500 or take a look at the following-

try bypassing the switch. If that does not work you may have a board issue. Trace the two switch wires up to the board and make sure they are OK.

It is rare to have a Digital Predig Board go bad but that board does control water fill.

Yiu can always piug another front board from another Tuttnauer in and see if it resolves the issue.
