controlled ball cleaning

I need to know how to clean internally control the ball as it lacks sensitivity

this is not easy, you can open the trackball, but there are 2 shafts with foam material on it under the ball. most the foam is defektive, so the rotation of the ball dont gets on the shafts. you have to find such a foam and replace it on the shafts.

It's simple as pie. I would purchase the foam inserts before opening it up first then open up the box. Disassemble it eeping in mind what pieces went where (not much to remember because you can't reassemble it incorrectly) then clean out all the dried up gel that will be present in the box. With an alcohol swab run it inbetween the sensors to clean out any possible dust and or gel. Relace the foam and reassemble. Takes 10 minutes max!

I would try using 99% alcohol free try cleanning the track ball and see if this will remove the dust or gel try it 2 or 3 times crisb1955@aol.com

Try to make the foam roller  using a piece of  face cleansing sponge or the one you use in your kitchen, i did it several times and it works.It just requires a little patience.

If you ship me your trackball i can rebuild for $150.00 plus freight. If you want one outright it is $275.00
