I HAVE ERROR No.6 ON DISPLAY AND WONT START THE ROTOR EITHER COMPRESOR

I have not been able to find a dedailed drawing of this unit.  Only a block diagram.  I work on this unit regularly.  Some tips: In general there are three versions of this unit.  Two boards in frount, only one board up frount, and one board in the back. 

First try just removing all connectors and reseating them.  This has fix some of my problems. I do not know why, but it works. 

If the traces are burnt up this may be caused by the frequncy converter board.  If you put in a new control board it will burn up the new board again.

Pay attention to the chips, which come with new boards.  They have to be compadable and in the correct boards. Spent a long time rigure that out.

I have a 5810R and I downloaded the service manual from this site. There are a couple of basic schematics in it but this copy of the service manual is not of very good quality and I can't read most of what is on these schematics. Do you have readable copies from this manual?

I have also found that my unit is not quite like what is represented in the manual. In particular the braking resistor(s). I found what are probably the breaking resistors but the value is half what the manual says they should be. Are you familiar with this?

Please post your serial number to have an idea the age of your equipment. Maybe yours is a very old one (white button keys for example).

Dear Mr. Ahad, Eppendorf doesn't supply detailed component schematics for repair purposes in difference with other manufacturers. You will have to compare with other PCB and measure the component value. In general these boards are hard to fix due to multilayer design and small SMD component size.
