No power

I have 2 SCD Express units just out of warranty that have no power whatsoever. AC light does not come on when plugged in, does not run when plugged in, does not run off the battery.

I tested and tried new power cords. I swapped batteries with functional units. I checked the fuses. And I even switched the power supply board with a functioning unit and I still get nothing.

Any ideas on what the issue might be? I appreciate any helpful replies.

their is a procedure that you have to run through when you replace a battery thats kind of a pain in the rear, but if your not getting any indication that it's gettting power then i would say obviously power supply of fuse.

i have manual if you need

Many times, fluid penetration through the case screw under the power cord would wet the CPU board, causing corrosion and failure.  Inspect the CPU board and power supply board for fluid damage as well.

There is a daughter board that has bad solders connecting it to the other board, causing this problem

I have unit which has bit different problem. With power cord attached the mains light illuminates but battery does not charge. I have tested the unit with new battery but the problems remains the same. I have also tried the battery calibration mode in service mode but it didn´t help. If I turn the unit on, it starts up but alarms battery failure very soon after start.
