alternative tubing

Does anyone know if there is a less expensive tubing alternative to their part number ML08003 / 4184994 ?

Or even if anyone knows the material specific information so I could find an alternative supplier?

Thanks

Just curious, I thought that Tygon was an acceptable replacement for the 1/16th ID lines...the referenced is Urethane...just curious if there is any issue with tygon.

Tygon is an acceptable replacement, however I find that this tubing is better and last longer between replacement. Aside from the cost issue.

Also you have to keep in mind the the tubing replacement must meet a minimum of 100 psi..

This tubing is 1/16 x 1/8 and rated for 105 PSI. The description of the product says that hose clamps are generally not needed. The old lines in my Narkomed still have clamps. Do I need the clamps or not?

I have "retubed" several 2B's and I never use hose clamps.
