CX50 boots up with an error...

Dear Members,

The CX50 machine boots up completely till user area appears and then it gives "Call service...' message.

The application log shows "HV calibration failed"

Does anybody faced similar situation or is there any error/troubleshooting guide?

Any advice will be appreciated...

Howdy Artur,

At AUE, we have seen this caused by a defective Power board. It is also possible but less likely that a defective Channel board could cause that error.

Thanks for reply.

RST shows 2 failed tests: CBHVp current test and CBHVp ramp test. Other tests pass pretty fine.

Does it narrow down the list to Channel board?

Is there any possibility for software glitch or wrong Bios settings?
