Steris 3080

Has any body had a problem with a Steris surg. table activating by itself. No buttons being pushed, that is what I am being told.

If you are sure no buttons are sticking. Unplug the hand control and plug it back in. That has fixed a lot of problems I have had with the bed that are not explainable.

I have seen several that the center column mount at the top of the column had been bent by the surgical team lowering the table while there was an SCD sitting on the base against the column. This can cause the issues you are describing because it can short some of the override switches/cables/circuit board.

If the "by itself" is the floor locks retracting, that is a totally different issue. If this is the case, repost and I'll get you through the checks/fixes for it.

Good Luck!
