Best Networkable CMMS Program?

Please provide me the name of your CMMS Program for maintaining your Clinical Engineering Database. Looking for one that does it all from inventory to invoicing a client and reports to boot. Thanks

while TMS is the most used options support is basically not there. Also this system is very expensive. Just something to consider.  If you have a IT group at your facility ask them about making a data base for you. I would use asp.net and SQL. Simply because it is highly scalable. Most web sites like amazon use php and mysql for their databases. There are a ton of tutorials online for creating databases most of them are free. Here are some links to get you started. I think going this route you will be able to tailor the database to your needs, its free, secure, scalable, and most of all you will learn something new.

www.lynda.com  tons of tutorials you will have  working prototype in two weeks!

http://www.wampserver.com/en/      php and sql its free!

hope this opens a new world to you. have fun!

We are using Asset Manager from Mainspring (aka St Croix systems). This is about to be replaced state-wide so I will have a different answer in a few months. I have been using St Croix products for more than a decade with great success.

I am retired now after 43 years in Biomed, my last position I was there for 21 years and we used Medimizer. It does everything you want and the report writer is very good . there are canned reports and you can develop your own very easily with a bit of practice. The support is very good and for the most part done on line. Had good success.

We are using Equipment Management System (EMS) but are in the process of moving to TriRiga on a State-wide basis. Not too sure about this one - we will see - has anybody had experience with TriRiga ?

We use Alert by Fieldpoint which was highly customized to run all facets of our business.

We use Mainspring formally known as St Croix Systems for both our Clinical Engineering and Plant Engineering departments here at Novant Health. They have a fantastic support team who really understand when something is pressing and needs immediate action. They have a fantastic product that it continuously growing and has fit our needs nicely. We made the change from multiple facilities using multiple products to one corporate wide system, and the reporting features make it so easy to build reports to show results at an individual facility level or as a corporation as a whole.
