I have a person the is having a problem with their SPO2 it is intermittently picking up the patients signal. Is this issue with the Dash 3000. They have replaced probe and cable. tried it on several people. Any body have some insight to this unit?

If you have tried a new trunk cable and sensor the problem is more than likely with the DAS.

If the problem with the SPO2 continues and you need the unit repaired I can send you a shipping label and have the unit evaluated free of charge.

Thanks.

We have seen issues with the connector itself cause that and if that looks to be in good shape try this If you have the 823 processor ..... hold down the nibp go/stop button and the zero all and while holding those 2 buttons down turn the unit on to enter the configuration menu. Choose the option to clear configuration.  This will do a reset of the unit but you will not lose any options. We have seen this fix that issue before as well. If you need furhter assistance feel free to give us a call for free tech support or parts support.  If you need repair service we can help you but I think through our tech support we can troubleshoot the issue with you and get you the needed parts.

What Boyd said is right on. One last easy thing to check is to make sure that the correct finger sensor is being used. There are 3 different ones that can go on it. 2 from Nellcor and 1 from Masimo. Now it is hard to mess up the Masimo to Nellcor style however the 2 Nellcor models (oximax and oxismart) can be mixed up.look at the side of the monitor where the sensor gets plugged in, there should be a sticker that says what cable is needed. Then look at the sticker wrapped around the finger sensor and make sure it matches.

If this and what Boyd mentions does not work, then you will be looking at internal problems most likely.

having dash 3000 spo2 issues. Can't get it to see a sensor. The blue11pin connector on the DAS has a two locators on one side verses the one on each side. I guess I have two questions.

A: How do I identify the make of the Spo2 module as well as cable and sensor I should be using.

B: Are there any compatability restrictions when swapping out a DAS?
