Greetings, everyone. This is a very specific question, only for those running Neonate version bedside monitors. Our hospital has been doing Car Seat Assessments for some time, but we finally realized that when we do so, we were running on the default NICU settings and configurations. We're trying to write up a CAR-specific configuration for our monitors that meets current guidelines. Once we have one established to our nurses and doctors' satisfaction, then we can clone the profile over to the 20-odd remaining MP70 monitors. And to those asking, this is not a HIPPA violation, because there is no patient identifiers in this configuration, it's just telling the bedside how to behave. So, if someone has a configuration that they'd like to share with me, please drop me a line at rabrown at freemanhealth dot com and we'll compare notes. Thanks!

Hello, I have an IntelliVue MP70 with an integrated 2-Module addition, but no matter what module I try plugging in, it gives me the same unrecognized error. I have tried using an M1006B, M1116B, M1020A, M1029A, and an M1002B. If you need any additional information I will gladly answer. Thanks.

I cannot figure out how to set Tcore to default to F. I can change it to F using the config screen, but cannot find how to set the default in the configuration manual. It is an MP70 unit. It seems as if our biomed dept is unable to figure this out either. Thank you

I have a MP70 from SICU that is showing error "REM.ALARMDev.Mal" I dont have any remote devices connected. This monitor in normally connected to a remote control outside of the patient room. The alarm goes away when I remove the remote device module. I have replaced the remote device module, but the alarm message still appears. Any ideaa's?

After a power outage one room will drop out from central station for a few seconds then come back. Reset room (shut all the way down and brought back up) still dropping out.

The module (SW rev G.01.80) connects to the monitor (either: M8007/SwrevA.20.46 or M8002/SW rev D.00.58) just fine at first, but then begins to lose communications, then reconnects briefly, loses comms again, etc.  Finally comms are permanently lost with the "MMS Unplugged" message displayed.  If power is removed and the unit allowed to sit for a period, the module will then connect to the monitor, but the above cycle plays out again.

The connectors are fine, so I suspect some board component is going wonky after it heats up.  Any ideas?  I'd rather repair the unit than swap out the whole PCB.

I'm just a husband sitting in an ICU with my wife hooked up to lots of equipment. They're using the MP70 to monitor a number of variables, including tcore. The temperature units are in Celsius but every nurse (at least 2 per 24 hour period x 7 days so far) has used a cheat sheet to convert to Fahrenheit. I've asked several of the nurses if there was a way to change scales. If there is, they don't know how. Can you tell me if there is a way to change from Celcius to Fahrenheit that I can pass along to them?

Thank you.
