Select your cycle and the time is set for you. Press “Start” and the M9 fills with the correct amount of water. Once the sterilization process is complete, the door opens automatically and quietly to dissipate the steam, giving you fast drying time for your instruments.

1Reply2 years ago | Process for running biological indicators IBI) in M9 Ritter autoclave Per report, a clinic states this autoclave BI is being run by itself on a tray and then incubated once a week. Then instruments are being sterilized during that week in pouches without a BI since it most recent BI was negative/acceptable. When the BI control and test is acceptable the clinic is using the instruments My understanding was a BI should be performed while the autoclave is in use and contains instruments to verify the process. Any clarification or manufacturer IFU would be appreciated. I reviewed the Midmark Ritter M9/M11 User's Manual and it did not contain this level of detail. Thanks.Reply |
